In 2001 guitarist Freddy Castro and his band Riverboat Gamblers blasted out of Denton, TX, with the rockin' 7-inch "Jenna Is a No Show." With outrageous guitar work and songs that start butts shaking, Riverboat Gamblers' juggernaut was firing on all cylinders. In 2003, the band slayed ‘em at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX with Castro laying down an irresistible bombast of butt rock from the heart. That performance led the Gamblers to a life of take-no-prisoners touring, sharing stages with the MC5, Burning Brides, and Flogging Molly. In 2005 they signed with Volcom Entertainment and released To the Confusion of Our Enemies, cementing their place as providers of aural courage to shredders worldwide.
